INTERESTED IN BEING AN AAPGAI INSTRUCTOR?

We’re offering potential instructors the opportunity to meet and spend time on the water with a number of our senior assessors to understand the requirements of the AAPGAI syllabi. Individual and group tuition during the two days will give candidates the right level of knowledge and understanding of what it takes to pass the AAPGAI assessment.

Course 1: 10th & 11th March 2012

Venue: The River Eden

Meeting Point: Lazonby Village, (CO-OP Food Store)
Nr Penrith, Cumbria, CA10 1BG - (B6413)

Course 2: 14th & 15th April 2012

Meeting Point: Mytton & Mermaid Hotel
Atcham, Nr Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY5 6QG - (B4380)

Haymer - April 2010

Illtyd Griffiths, Chairman of AAPGAI said: “This new programme will provide the perfect start for anyone wanting to become a fly casting instructor. It’s a great opportunity for potential candidates to meet our assessment team in an informal environment, to get feedback on their current teaching level and find out how they compare to AAPGAI assessment standards. They will also to find out the positive benefits of being a member of the association.”

At the end of the weekend every candidate will have the opportunity to undertake a one to one teaching/casting mock assessment in front of a senior assessor. Individual feedback will be given in the form of a thorough debrief with action points if necessary to prepare for the AAPGAI entry level assessment weekend.

If you feel that you have the right attributes to become an AAPGAI instructor – then we very much look forward to meeting you and showing you how to turn this into reality.

The cost of the 2 day workshop (excluding accommodation) is £250 per person up to a maximum of 6 individuals per course.
